Describing Malawi

The flames.
From the depths of Africa.
From the depth of central Africa
I repose.

It is said that
in the flames, the blades that make
me up have been estimated to
12 million kwacha.

The flames are multilingual
multitribal and they have been
blazing from 1964.

In the years the flames have
been thwarted by drifting energy;
they have been driven to a corner
by some powerful flames
in the years the flames have been
pulled away.

The flames are Malawi.
